Depart Toronto by air via Paris to Lisbon.

Apr 26

Morning arrival. Transfer to our hotel in Fatima, time for rest dinner, procession with candles. Overnight in our hotel.

Apr 27

Full day in Fatima. Time for mass, visit the Site of Apparitions of the old and new Basilica. We also visit the houses of the children and see a movie about Fatima. Dinner procession with candles and overnight.

Apr 28

After breakfast we drive to Salamanca. Salamanca is probably best known for having the oldest University in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe. The city has been declared “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO. Dinner and overnight in our hotel.

Apr 29

This morning sightseeing tour of the city: new and old cathedral and all ancient buildings. Next we drive to Madrid – the capital of Spain. En route visit Avila – city of contrasts, the hustle and bustle of the mercado (market) contrasts with the quiet repose of the temples and its cloisters. Churches, convents, beautiful palaces and the impressive cathedral provide Avila’s character and identity, in which the spirits of Santa Theresa of Jesus and of Saint John of the Cross still vibrate. Continue drive to Madrid for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast half day sightseeing tour of Madrid: Plaza Espana, the Puerta del Sol, the Cibeles Fountain and Gran Via, as well as the beautiful Royal Palace. In the afternoon excursion to Toledo, situated on the granite hill surrounded by the loop of Tagus river, the ancient capital of Castille attracts more visitors than any other Spanish town. Return to Madrid for mass, dinner and overnight in our hotel.

May 01

This morning we depart for Zaragoza – visit Spain’s most famous Marian Shrine – the Basilica Of Our Lady of the Pilar. Dinner and overnight in our hotel.

May 02

After breakfast drive to Lourdes in France. Our road takes us trough magnificent Pyrenees. Afternoon arrival in Lourdes, time for private prayers and mass. Dinner, procession with candles. Overnight.

May 03

This morning time to visit the Grotto and two Basilicas, see the movie about Lourdes and St.Bernadette. Participate in Way of the Cross, Mass. After dinner procession with candles and overnight in our hotel.

May 04

From Lourdes we travel to Barcelona, one of the most impressive cities of Spain. Upon arrival some free time, dinner and overnight.

May 05

After breakfast time to visit the Columbus monument, elegant tree-lines Ramblas and Plaza De Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, the Church “Sagrada Familia” and the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia. In the afternoon we travel to mystical monastery of Monserrat famous for the “Black Madonna”. Dinner and overnight in Barcelona.

May 06

Today our tour comes to an end. We depart for the airport and fly back to Toronto.
